Scott's skills and vision span broadcast and documentary film, built over 17 years behind the camera. He's earned a reputation trusted by national broadcasters, established production houses, and streamers — a director, cinematographer, and producer with a strong visual sensibility and a passion for character-driven storytelling.

Over the past five years he's been centrally involved in bringing four long-form documentaries to market. Scott's documentary Stackorama! (ABC) was nominated for Best Stand-Alone Documentary at the 2022 AIDC Awards. He produced and directed Ballkids (Netflix), was development producer on Mockbuster, and is producer on the feature documentary Aftermath.

Jared's work spans across commercial, documentary, and factual television. Credits include cinematographer and editor on Ballkids (Netflix) and DOP and editor on Stackorama! (ABC). He's been a trusted shooting producer on some of Australia's largest reality formats — Australian Survivor and Married at First Sight — and a cinematographer across factual series including My Kitchen Rules, For the Love of Pets, and Australia's Sleep Revolution with Dr Michael Mosley. He works comfortably as a single operator through to large multi-crew productions, adapting his approach to whatever the story and the budget demand.

His debut feature documentary, Aftermath — co-directed with Ben Lawrence — premieres at the Adelaide Film Festival in 2026.
