As a director of Run Wild Pictures he has worked as a freelance director, producer and cinematographer on numerous productions for a range of different producers, clients and networks.

Farrin is a journalist, writer and film-maker. She was the founding editor of independent magazine CityMag and in her early career worked as a reporter and editor across traditional media outlets, including at The Independent Weekly in Adelaide. Since becoming a freelancer in 2018, she has written for mastheads like The Guardian, Kill Your Darlings and InReview and worked in documentary film.
